To make it threadless you would use the 'nothreadset': http://chrisking.com/headsets/hds_nts

I don't know if this would require a new fork as the one you have would be cut down for the standard threaded headset. Plus you would have to find a 1" stem.

Better to look at the conversion stems from 1" to 1 1/8"
