More torsional rigidity and usually more plush than a similar-length single-crown, because there is more internal volume for oil, damping circuits and a looser-wound spring.

It doesn't. Most or all Fox remote-reservoir shocks can be flipped any which-way. I chose to flip it so that there would be no chance a slammed seatpost could foul with the reservoir.
