Now that it has come up, I'm starting to see them everywhere. There are 4 Eddy Merckx on ebay right now with this style bridge, 3 SLX, 1 TSX. Now, I just saw one posted on the Merckx thread presently running on C&V. Most bridges I've seen are stamped with the brand. It would be interesting, to me at least, to see if there was something stamped on the brake bridge when the OP eventually removes that ugly paint. Also still curious if anyone can identify that backwards 'E' stamped on the fork crown.
