I used knobbies on the road for a long time, this winter i picked up 1.4 slicks and its a world of a difference. Of course they are lighter, like 250 or 300 grams lighter. And they roll so nicely . I tried going with knobbies again a little while ago and on a turn i a skid out and crashed.
