Before jumping for a new spindle (I didn't think they made new ones for 71mm BB's?), see if you can track down a genuine Raleigh spindle from the '70s or earlier that matches the length and offset of your original.

I'd much rather trust a 30 or 40 year old Raleigh piece for quality and finish any day of the week over brand-new Chinese trash with cheap plating.
