Been a while since I've posted here. I'm not sure if you're all on the Velocipede mailing list-but fun stuff tomorrow night. Anybody interested? Maybe get some brews afterwards-by bike of course. Built up my old/new freshly painted Cdale-seems to be pretty good, a couple hundred miles on it-but headset still seems loose.
Hey everyone, Fall is here and it's gorgeous outside! There's a couple of
exciting announcements and events ahead…
-This saturday (tomorrow) MICA is hosting a bike fest that is centered
around a showing of "Life Cycles" a film that "tells a spectacular story
of the bike, from its creation to its eventual demise. A visually stunning
journey, with thought provoking narration, Life Cycles uses Ultra HD to
document the many stories surrounding the mountain bike and its culture.
Life Cycles is a celebration of the bicycle, and is sure to entertain
anyone who has ever ridden one." Velocipede will be there to represent
and there is a planned pre-screening ride, led by bmore fixed, that starts
from the Washington Monument at 5:15pm There will be a goldsprint
competition provided by Mobtown Velo as well as demonstrations by local
bicycle shops such as Baltimore Bicycle Works and Twenty20!
