Paramounts have for nearly forever, been Schwinn's top of the line offering. Reynolds 531 has always been thought of as top grade tubing (till recent years... but it's still top notch in my book). Campagnolo parts used on 'em have for nearly as long been considered the best there was, and they've lasted longer under race conditions than most parts used on lesser model Schwinns. Wisconsin has good cheese, and little old ladys are sweet.
