It will be on Saturday July 9, 2011. I think it really is a Hell ride and passes through Hell, MI. Though it's only a one day event, the nearby town of Ann Arbor, MI might be a good place for a two or three day unofficial gathering spot, to include informal additional rides and activities, somewhat as as suggested by
billydonn in post # 51.
I think it's hard to justify a long trip for a one-day event.
