it makes me wonder whether those break-away stays that MKS fenders use on their front fenders are a smart idea, after all. i ditched mine, in favor of bolting the stays directly.
Immediately after the crash, I thought about this too ... then I realized that for that to help, I would have also needed break-away front forks!
