Thanks for the bike like, droopie. I live in York, Pennsylvania, just north of MD line; pretty much straight up from Baltimore. Here is some information on the York County Heritage Rail Trail. It is indeed a lovely ride, intermittent woods and farmland.

I aspire to ride
to it, then
on it, but I just drive there for now, then begin my ride. It's a short drive, but across some hilly, bike-unfriendly streets, so I'm not up to it quite yet. Happy trails!
