it makes me wonder whether those break-away stays that MKS fenders use on their front fenders are a smart idea, after all. i ditched mine, in favor of bolting the stays directly.
I say "yes" to the SKS w/ breakaway stays. They have saved me more than once when something gets picked up by the wheel. I even add them to the rear fender. Rivendell sells just the break away mounts since they usually come for the front fender only.
