As far as the bearings go, it should be the same as any classic cup/cone front hub. If lubed with grease, and seeing normal service, it should be able to go 1 year or about 5,000 miles between overhauls, which has kept my Campy hubs going for over 50,000 miles of mixed weather riding. If they get very rough service, ie, lots of dirt, rain, road salt shorten the interval based on your experience, and certainly repack them if they sound dirty or gritty.
BTW, if you're a year round commuter, the best time for service is early Spring to make sure all the salt is flushed out, and if lubing twice a year add the Fall to go into the winter with maximum weather protection.
