Eugene or Ohio via Amtrak --- I'm in! I took Amtrak to Portland, Oregon, and will never forget the drop-dead gorgeous scenery on that early spring morning as the train wound silently through the pines high in the Cascades.
Yes, Amtrak is good. I've given up flying so I would not be going to any destination that required it.
