But I can name a very big liberal that has a carbon footprint bigger than most Americans. And that liberal makes money off of being green. Talking the talk but not walking the walk.

Like I said, make it political and if it is more than a cycling related issue you will lose a lot of support.
You did name conservatives who are into cycling (and that was one of the challenges). But not carfree and/or advocates for government support of carfree causes.
