My wife has started biking. But she needs full sun protection. We live in North Texas, I find that with sunblock and the visor on my helmet I am fine in the sun. But my wife needs a full visor which will protect her face, and the sides of her head. Has anyone found a solution to this problem?

We were thinking of trying to adapt one of the solumbra legion hats to fit under the helmet, it appears they come without the "button" that baseball caps have.

Has anyone managed to attatch a brim to a helmet?

Or even better has anyone found a company which makes a helmet with a wide brim?

Just to be clear about the problem, it is the sun that is evil not the heat (as far as my wife is concerned).
