As to ablation, think I'll pass. Not deficient in cardiac scar tissue. Why burn the heart when it worked fine for 40+ years. The magnesium actually worked immediatley. I was starting into and episode (after not sleeping the night before) took some magnesium and in 30 minutes the fluttering stopped. Convinced me. Supplementing mag. is a good idea for all athletes. It relaxes the cardiac muscles while calcium is excitatory. Hmmm. Just had a sleepless weekend, which normally always throws me into A-fib. Not a flutter. Magnesium citrate is my new best friend. Will be trying it for a young guy whose HR is going pathologically high when he runs( passes out!) Docs found nothing wrong with him. HR just goes too high when running. He also wasnt sleeping, etc. Starting him today, will write what happens.
