Since no lock combination ,or scheme, will be 100% effective against any thief I declare my bike as an add on to my homeowners (or renters) policy to pay for any loss. All I have to do is practice what is called "Due Dliigence" in protecting my property with a simple cable lock or keeping the bike "under covers" (in my garage) to satisfy the insurance company.
Insurance Cost for 2 bikes each year.......$50 or .13 cents a day.
