Understandable but you should be able to tell whether it's threaded or threadless by what your stem looks like (see images below).
The cups will be too big for the frame and since your fork is threaded, even if you had a 1" threadless headset, it wouldn't work without getting a new
1" threadless fork.
A 1 1/8" fork
will not work.
