Paramounts were made in Chicago at the Schwinn plant. They were hand-made in a special corner of the plant. Everything about the Paramount was special and had the best components available at the times.

The Le Tour was an excellent machine. The Le Tours I have worked on have 100% made in Japan components and are beautifully factory made construction. They can be found at garage sales for $25.00 and are a tremendous deal.
