I'm seriously considering adding some SOLAS or V82 tape to my Velocity rims. They're tall enough that I might get some decent side visibility with the added tape.
They used to sell little strips of tape you could put on your rims between the spokes, it gave a nice strobe effect when car light hit it. Those rims are fairly flat in cross section, they are Araya MTB rims.

My contribution is a B&M IQ Cyo Senso Plus in chrome. Most of my lights are B&M, some of the best stuff out there in dyno powered. Tail light is a B&M 4D Lite. The other picture is a 1973 Sturmey Archer AG 3 speed dyno hub, still chugging along after nearly 40 years, it powers the Cyo and 4D.
