The classically designed stuff is just knockoffs of the real thing except not as cool because they aren't the real thing. The Real versions of So much of the stuff any of those companies sell is still kicking around and just waiting to be put to use. I guess there's something that I really like that I have a hard time describing about something that's old...I can't explain all the reasons but I like old things. The new stuff might be patterned after the old, but its still just that....new stuff. There's stuff from either place that i've bought, there's stuff I'd consider buying, but if I can get the vintage part that its a knock off of at around the same price or little more, even if it needs a little cleanup....i'd prefer it. Maybe its my own way of saving the planet. By not buying everything new.

I see so many bikes that look like they rolled in a big pile of Velo Orange and Rivendell...it doesn't look classic to me.
