I am very pleased with this combo. The rack is excellent and well worth even the $70 I paid for it. (The price has gone down since spring.) Definitely nicer than any of the Interchange racks I've seen. The bag attaches and detaches really easily, and there's an additional widget you can buy to lock it to the rack. (If you wanted to carry a miniature luggage padlock, you could lock the zipper pulls together; I don't bother.) The bag itself isn't waterproof, but a nice coating of Heavy Duty Camp Dry makes it close enough. There's a built-in rain cover too, but I've never used it, even in downpours.
