Nothing is perfect, if you no longer want it then check the store return policy and return or exchange it. I don't find lockability necessary since I don't leave my bag on the bike when go away from the bike. A thief will just cut it open to see get whatever is inside and ruin your bag or bike at the same time. I don't leave temptation if possible.
