My winter bike has Drum brakes in it's hubs.. they always work,
have needed no maintainence for 20 years.
Rims: Sno Cat, Tires: Nokian studded..

when it's warmer, thawed, I have a bike with Magura Hydraulic Rim Brakes..
both are 26'' wheel bikes.
