how about running a SA AW 3 sp with a front derailier? I suppose it could be done if you add a chain tensioner? Running a 50/34 compact crank with that hub looks like it gives an almost perfect gear range for this type of thing. a 31" low and an 82 high. I want to run a IGH but i'm afraid of not having enough high and low end for the hills I have here. Sure, I could run a 5 7 or 8 speed IGH , but I already have a 36h 3 speed SA AW hug sitting here.
