It seems like the average age in the local club is around my age, give or take maybe 5 years (and I'm 50).

One of the guys that is fairly close to my speed is close to 70. "Close to my speed" means he's also slower than most of the other rando riders. Come to think of it, another one of those guys may be similar age, too- not sure just how old he is.

I've been surprised to find out how old some of the ladies are- they tend to look younger. Bicycling must be good for you or something.
