Kidd, you need to get a handle on this thread. You ask these guys to simply get a piece of CF steerer tube and try to break it and then they go out and drive their bikes into brick walls and then have their girlfriends post pictures on google.
I am very happy with this.
What I'm seeing in the pictures are older bikes with early model design CF components. The pics don't add to the arguments, I agree. Only the prejudices. Exactly how those forks broke, we'll never know. We only get the sensationalism.
And yet, I'm avoiding CF seat rails and stems because I suspect/fear they would be a weak part.
