It's an American Classic Equipment seatpost that seems to be a period upgrade. It's lighter than my '90 Trek's and lighter than the carbon seatpost I just bought for fun. Two screw adjustment but it just seems to grip the seat rails with less surface area than more modern setups.
So should I stick with this for weight (and style) or should I go with something more modern and heavier?
Haha! I have one of their headsets, 1 and 1/8 threaded!
