Thanks for that link and the information. I can use that kind of cable guide for one of the bikes although I was hoping for something better, but on one of the bikes (The one with Shimano, I need to have a lever on the left side (FD) and a cable guide on the other. Are there any clam-on lever bosses that will take cable guides instead of levers mounted on them? You mentioned that older ones did. Does anyone know which ones? Perhaps I could find some of those.
