There are members with many posts that don't have a clue either. Post count doesn't have anything to do with knowledge.

That's the issue...many less experienced riders can't look at a tire and determine if it meets their riding requirements. Across the board recommendations for certain components (like tires) don't work and that is what the "discussion" is highlighting.
