I just purchased a cannondale prophet 600 from the lbs yesterday. It is coming in on wed. but i have a serious question to ask. Being a newbie a friend of mine mentioned as part of the "deal" with the bike purchase, they would swap the cannondale clipless pedals with the Shimano PD-m324 pedals. This way I can ride with regular shoes and become a decent rider before attempting the clipless. Is it a downgrade to go from the cannondale clipless to the Shimano pedals? I'm concerned because if it is then I would want them to put the orignal c-dale clipless back on and I would buy some generic pedals. Please help...thanks
