DG,

I'd check in with
Blackmith Bicycle Wheels
5555 Santa Fe Street, San Diego, CA 92109
(858) 490-5300

The specialize in wheel building, they might be able to save yours with a new set of spokes and a retruing or have suggestions for a new wheel.

They fixed up the wheel on my Bianchi Eros when it popped severely just weeks after I bought the bike.
