seat post help
hi guys, im new here, could someone give me some help regarding seatposts for my new bike. im totally new to bikes so i dont know much of anything about them. now i want to buy a new saddle cos the one i have is killing me and i was thinking about getting a new seat post as well. i have the giant xtc 3 2005 bike and the seat post that is with it has the following info on it.
minimum insert 30.8mm
350mm
does this mean i have to buy a post that is 30.8mm only? even if i buy a new clamp? im such a noob i know but i want some info before buying anything. thanks
