Yes they are standard drop bar brakes (Cane Creek SCR-5C), and the brakes are Tektro RX5 Mini-V. Great brakes. Guess a lot of guys run them on their cross bikes. Also pretty cheap. I got mine for like $30 from BikeSomeWhere.com.
