So how bad is the fit? Is it really too big? Because you can make a profit on the bike which will help you purchase a bike that suits you well.

Back when I was a young lad way back in the 70's we only cared if the seat could be lowered enough to reach the pedals on our 10 speeds. Having one leg dangle over the top tube while waiting for the green light seemed normal. Although not that extreme with the Centurion the top bar just barley teases the boys. The saddle and post have a couple of inches before they can go no lower. Again back in the 70's this was the norm.
So yes I can ride the bike just fine. And I might just flip it.
I still have two bikes that fit me pretty good. A 1997 Specialized hybrid I bought new back then and a old 80's Nishiki Sport that I picked up for just 12 bucks at a thrift store.
