yeah, i'm a little confused by tom's description. i assumed it was going to work like you suggested, rudi. personally, i like the idea of the originator (tom) packing a box as packed as he can get it, then sending it off to the next person on the list. that person takes what he wants, re-packs the same box (or a replacement of the same size, if damaged) to the brim (i think this should be a requirement for each participant-- the box is packed to the gills, but carefully), and passes it along. and so on...

and i don't get the "winner" part, either. aren't we all "winners" in this?
