The bike is an '84 Peugeot P18T. The BB is Swiss threaded. The HS is French threaded. I don't know what the threading was on the original POS Stronglight cranks. I threw them out. The cranks pictured are a nicer Stronglight set (122BCD) that I bought on eBay. I thought (but wasn't certain) French pedal threads were smaller, so these are obviously 9/16". Thanks!

The fork isn't bent in the way that we usually see. The non-drive side, stamped dropout is bent inwards. I suppose it's worth putting it in a vice between two blocks of wood.

It's quite possible the dropout was bent in shipping, but equally possible that the powder coater is to blame. I've no illusions of seeking restitution from him, though, and wouldn't even try. I'm not dealing with that guy again.
