Hi everyone. I'm new on this forum. I've been into road bikes for about a year now I ride recreationally, and I don't purport to be a cyclist / in shape. My dad was a Cat 2 cyclist back in the early 80's which is what sparked my interest. </intro>

Anyways. My girlfriend bought a road bike today, but we're not sure what brand it is. I suspect it's 80's and Japanese, as it's pretty similar to my daily, a Univega Nuovo Sport.

Here's what she's told me: Suntour components, downtube shifters, Dia Compe sidepull brakes, Laprade (brand) seatpost, SR bars, and a curious Campagnolo sticker on the downtube. No other markings. I've only found one other thread about a bike like this, but I don't know what it turned out to be. Also has some nice lugging and a bottom bracket cutout in the shape of a "K", which I've never seen before. Or maybe it's a V. or a weird A.
