Gee, some of you guys are finally getting the point. Campy is best suited to those of us who can do our own repairs. Local shops rarely have any Campy parts and they are certainly not going to have specialized tools to repair a crank they never stock.
About the UT BB bearings, the 6mm width is a special, the normal width is 7mm, so common suppliers of industrial bearings would tell you that there is no such thing. FSA uses the 6mm width too.
Check out the price for the tools to do a proper job of removing and replacing the bearings in a Shimano BB - not cheap either. Most people just buy a new BB. The Campy bearings can be removed with an ordinary automotive puller, but the the ends might need to be ground a little thinner to get under the bearing.
