I ordered a SunLite 27", chrome replacement fork from my LBS last night. For the price I should have bought three just to have a couple spares. I agree that I can probably bend the stamped dropout pretty easily, but the fact that I can now use a 22.2 stem on this bike is reason enough to go forward with the replacement fork. And with the little rack and (probable) fenders this will be a good looking bike.
