A couple of things I know I could save weight on but choose to carry are "seperate" tools (not a multi tool), and a half way decent first aid kit. Stuff to repair your bike and your body is worth carrying imo...

I could carry less if touring in Europe or the USA in the summer months (20 lbs) being close to repair shops and medical facilities, but having durable stuff for 3 season touring or outside those regions puts me at around 25-30 lbs ... but hey miles vary, and you UL guys are inspiring (even if not everything would work for me)
