i dont know about that... im as far from the islands as geographically possible and, for a month in the summer, i did 3 pints per weeknight (to help me sleep, of course) and 6 pints per weekend night.
it helped that the local store had em for 10$/12-pk case... my friend and i took a truck to the store, and went home with 8 cases per person. it wasnt heaven..but it was pretty close
lately i've been splitting my purchases 80/20 between hefeweizen and (american) brown ale... maybe i should diversify
