IMO, anything access to the east side would be OK. The I-205 path splits 82nd Ave. (independent shops) and 122nd (larger dealerships). Plenty of bike lanes coming from the I-205 path, too.

Robert: please find a job here before you move. The job market is really, really tough, and you can expect to take a serious pay cut. Especially if you're used to Southern Orange County wages.
