If you want to go some place that is not cold from mid-Jan to the end of Feb, think ... southern hemisphere. I recommend Australia. It's a big country so you could have your choice of tropical, desert, beaches, mountains, or whatever you'd like. And it is highly unlikely it will be cold then.
