Two months ago I hadn't ridden a bike in over 5 years (I am 21). I rode a friends fixie, almost killed myself and was hooked ;>. Two weeks ago I finished building my bike and I've been riding 5+ miles a day since.
I'm a 5'4" 130lb tech guy who hasn't done anything even remotely resembling exercise in years. I am loving every single minute in the saddle. Pretty soon I hope to start biking to work (about 15 miles). My other two wheeled accomplice is definitely being neglected (2003 Harley-Davidson V-Rod).
Today I rode 40 miles and my legs are absolutely killing me but I just want to go out and ride more.
Thanks to a few threads in this forum I figured out skidding today. I can trackstand for days (not very well one handed or no handed yet though!). Still working on the backwards riding stuff, I've got the backwards-180-to-on-your-ass thing down though

.
I've been lurking for week or so now just soaking up everything I possibly can.
Anyway, I wanted to share my baby with you guys and thank you all for the constant flow of advice/knowledge and cool discussions. She is built up around a Fetish Cycles dirtjump frame I got on ebay. I'm running 38x16 with a near perfect chainline. I plan to beadblast/clearcoat her this winter so I'll have a silver/black bike (also want to remove the brake bosses etc). Two months ago the word bottom bracket was totally greek to me.
Ben Running helped me a ton figuring out what would fit on it when I was ordering stuff. I now have new respect for people building their first computer and not knowing what works with what.
Anyway, enough talk here she is.
