Are we satisfied that the Cateyemate 3000 is supposed to be on all the time? That's what came with my 80's vintage Motobecane Grand Touring. I downloaded a nearly unreadable copy of the manual for the 3000 and cannot find anything suggesting one of the buttons controls power. I wonder how long 2 AAA bats will last. I should probably do as ascayola did and put the cateye away and use a cheapo in its place until I decide to sell the bike.
