Cold but nice. I was layered up just right and had a comfortable ride in, it is encouraging that I'm getting used to the cold so easily. I replaced brake pads, front/rear, brake cables, front/rear, and installed 2 new tires/tubes over the weekend. My rear tire ruptured sometime Friday night/Saturday morning (while it was parked) and I only noticed this when I wheeled the bike downstairs to work on it. I was unable to find a replacement tire this weekend so, I went with a pair of Ritchy CX tires that I'd purchased a few weeks ago-I'll use these until I can get another Conti Tour Ride, we'll see if they hold up. My next project is to replace the drive train, including the jockey wheels in the rr. derailleur, and handlebars-I want something wider with a shallower drop. My new light is performing well and my knee feels almost entirely heeled-whew! I had really been worried as this injury has lingered since June. My co-workers and I just found out that we'll be moving into a new office space. We just checked out our new cubes and I'm glad to see that we will have translucent sliding glass doors and module lockers/cabinets/drawers-this will allow me to store extra clothes, parts, a floor pump, tools, etc. I'll also be able to change in my cube as well as park my bike there. Sweet.
