Coldest commute this morning (27 F) since last spring, and it's supposed to drop into the teens over the next few days. It felt great to me since I have plenty of cold-weather gear. I actually like it better when it stays cold like this because it's easier to dress for than days when it's cold in the morning and warm in the afternoon.

Got snowed out of my normal long weekend ride on Sunday. We don't get much snow in NC and rarely in December, but it snowed 1-3 inches on Saturday afternoon and night. I was out riding when it started and cut my ride short because it was getting hard to see after a while, but I managed to get in 16 miles. Unfortunately, the roads weren't totally clear by the time of the weekly Sunday morning group ride, so I stayed home. Good thing because the group had a big crash with several injured. Sometimes common sense pays off.
