I like those splayed out rando bars like on Auchen's Grand Sport. I've got a set of Nitto Noodles on my Super Course and I think they are great bars, especially for Aero levers. The bars feel beefy to me. Wide and the tubing feels chunky in my hands. Its good, confidence inspiring...it feels very solid. This might sound really odd, but the Noodle bars feel like a modern handlebar when I hold them.. Something about the beefiness. Its not good or bad, just an observation.
My favorites though are the SR World Champion and Road Champion bars. They feel sorta delicate in my hands, very easy to grip... The Road Champion's don't have much (if any) flare, a comfortable depth to the drops and not terribly long tops. The World Champions have a shallower drop and are flared at the drop, rather than at the stem like Auchen's bars pictured above. The tops are also swept towards the rider very slightly which gives a really comfortable position from the tops IMO.
