On the cool side still (for around here) this morning with temps in the upper 20s, but with 30+ mph wind gusts, the wind chill is much lower. It wasn't bad where I was somewhat sheltered from the wind and in the few short stretches where the wind was at my back, but most of the time it was a headwind or a crosswind. The extra pair of socks and the third tee-shirt (long sleeve) under the fleece made it a comfortable ride in, though.

I have to work Saturday this week, which is a bummer on the one hand, but good on the other, because on the return trip back on Saturday afternoon, I'll pass 3,000 miles commuted for the year! That's exciting. Since this is my first whole calendar year commuting (started in April 2009), it'll be my first time to hit that milestone.
